Project: ActiveSG, Jurong Lake Gardens

Situated at the fringe of the Jurong Lake Gardens, ActiveSG Park is designed to connect the Gardens with the adjacent residential estates as part of a wider strategy to promote both sports and affinity to Nature towards a new vision of a healthy lifestyle.

A dense, lush landscape is introduced to orient the pool and establish a connecting vista towards the Jurong Lake Gardens. A ramp directs provides arriving visitors a direct access to the roof gardens that similarly capture vistas towards the Lake Gardens in order to bring them closer towards Nature in the context of an urbanized environment. The combined pools, with its organic shape and beach-entries edges, aims to provide swimmers a seamless experience of swimming within nature. The facility boundary is marked by a landscape feature called the ha-ha wall, providing a natural solution for a fence-less and seamless look. [1]
